Bread is one of the oldest and most symbolic foods in existence. Because it is a food that can be easily sliced and divided among people, it is a symbol of fraternity. Bread can also means love for others, because whoever makes it, makes it with their own hands, and puts their affection, dedicates their time kneading the bread, waiting for the bread to rise and baking it. It's in many people's daily diet: in breakfast, as a soup garnish, as one of the main ingredients of a good hot dog or hamburger… Anyway, there is no one who does not know this magical mixture of flour, water and yeast.
My intention with this bead is to awaken nostalgia to those who have already enjoyed bread made by their grandparents, their parents. Satisfaction for those who learned to do it with their predecessors and today they do it to feed their loved ones. And to remember that our love and our good feelings must be like bread: fermented until it rises and shared.
