 The bulletproof (?) heart can hold a lot of different meanings. It can be positive like being deeply in love (shot through the heart and you’re to blame..) as well as negative like being badly hurt through unrequited love or a failed relationship one has to overcome.

For me it also holds a personal meaning of experiencing the hard times when working in law enforcement or the army. You might witness the abyss of human nature and at the same time feel a lack of support and understanding by other people. Dealing with unimaginably sad situations and sometimes also with the most evil behavior has a profound impact on your heart. That’s why I also designed this for those who serve(d) in the army or work in law enforcement and their families.

A silver heart with a hole, it has an attached silver or bicolor bullet. The bullet has a hole too so you can put it inside the heart or wear it next to the heart. The bullet is attached to the heart by a thin chain. The cartridge case and the projectile tip could be vermeil.
