What is this design?
Two separate halves of a realistic toasted bagel. On the outsides, one (top) would have seeds a mixture of texture and sesame type seeds (see two photos to get idea of two textures we would like combined). The other half (bottom) would not. On the inside there would be a smooth smear on both sides but when they come together they fit snugly to form a whole bagle. All silver, as realistic as possible. Hopefully with some texture/little holes on the inside bagelpart since it's supposed to look toasted. I was thinking smooth for the smear. And in my head, in general, at least some oxidation for shading.

How is this design important to you?
Sharing bread and food in general is so important to all of us! We nourish our bodies and souls when we sit down to a meal. Bagel is perfect to give support to Ronald Mcdonald House who, amongst other things, provides meals for families of sick kids who are far from home for procedures, specialist visits, or hospital stays. I have served meals to families here and I know it is a wonderful or essential thing to receive. Bagels can be a hearty, comforting way to start a difficult day. Hopefully money raised with this bead will help families in their most difficult times.

How did your team come up with this design?
We worked collaboratively! Using polls and narrowing down what type of food/drink, savory was decided. When bagel was voted to be the ultimate focus, this design idea was proposed by me and my team members liked it too. T was then talked about on our chat to be what it is today. It's a versatile design. The bead can be worn whole, broken into halves, "filled" with beads in between, or even put onto earrings and necklaces. Two halves, one bagel!
