I think everyone wants a closed and secure system that can travel or store well, this would be an alternative to the roll. I prefer short rods, the long ones seem too long for my tastes. Add handles and it’ll be like an artist’s box of colors.or convert cigar boxes.
Create a new hinged play tray by taking an existing tray and cutting straight down the center to form two halves which you can hinge the spine like a book. Fill with rods from top to bottom, short stacks are easier to manage on rods for me.
